Willful ignorance!
Mr. Will does exactly what he claims Barak Obama of doing. Writing deeply profound sounding prose that is empty if not ignorant in content. Suggesting 8 years from now the world will be pretty much the same is a stunningly blinded statement. But I suspect he is mostly talking about for himself. Wow! Talk about a stunning lack of content or disregard for stubborn facts.
8 years from now there will be 500,000,000 more people in the world. In addition to the 6.7 billion already here the policies made over the next year will likely determine the fate of at least a small per centage. If its 1% maybe as many as 72 million peoples lives will be dramatically affected. If 5% 360 million. We are talking about people already living on the edge at home and around the world. Will there be enough energy to run our world. How about water and food?
Life WILL likely be fairly similar to a news commentator with a good income and a blind eye but for millions around the world they walk a knifes edge between survival and death. And they, the rest of the world, are confident that the best hope for the leader of the free world is Barak Hussein Obama!!!
Mr Will has written prose to compete with the likes of Obama's oratory abilities but it is Mr. Will who has content and beauty that is shallow. Please no diving!!!
